Re: No activity light no boot

It seems the memory card can't be read properly. I think it's too slim or the card reader pins aren't raised enough. The card works if I hold it down with my thumb. I've bought a new card with raspbian installed so that now works and the old card works if I hold it down.

No activity light no boot

I installed raspbmc no problem but thought it was rubbish,(I wanted to use catchup tv but seem the various channels only worked for a bit). So I've had a go at Raspian no joy at all :( I tried the NOOB thing then images with win32 diskmanager. I can't get the dang thing to do anything, never any act...

Re: Wifi Dongle

OK thanks I didn't realise I had to install Network manager :) Select Programs from the home screen. Then select ‘get more’ -> ‘Network-Manager’ -> ‘install’. Wait for it to download and enable. Go back out to the home screen, select ‘Programs’ -> ‘Network-Manager’. Up will come the ‘Wifi Connection...

Is it possible to get http://www.voipconnect.com/ to work on the raspberry pi. It has to be this software as dialnow have specially low rates but only if you use this software. I haven't bought a pi yet buy will do if this windows/mac software will work !

Re: How do you program a Raspberry Pi

So can you get programs to run at startup and use the Rpi solely to run one program. My Dad would like to make use it to program the boiler ( not entirely sure what he has in mind but there you go :) )
