Re: Mount USB storage on boot

I do have a mount line, but I'm not using the device UUID. I'll use it and see if it works.

Mount USB storage on boot

Hi,

I've been (furiously) searching for an answer to the following question:

In Arch, how do I make sure my USB storage mounts on boot?

I guess I'm stuck inside my filter bubble.

Re: Archlinuxarm v6 hard float

Here are the results of the LINPACK benchmark on both the v5-nohf and v6-hf Arch versions. Both were done on a stock OS without any overclocking. I'm using arm240_start.elf . v5-nohf Enter array size (q to quit) [200]: 200 Memory required: 315K. LINPACK benchmark, Double precision. Machine precision...

Re: Archlinuxarm v6 hard float

What does v6 refer to? ARM instruction set version, or ALARM version?

Re: pacman -Syu : error glibc : /lib is already there...

The

Code: Select all

/lib
directory is meant to go missing - it's the root of the problem. That's the reason why we need to be calling commands with their full path.

pepedog: The instructions on alarm have changed. Everything was fine with the ones given yesterday, but now the text is barely visible.

Re: Compiling GCC on Raspberry Pi

Why not

Code: Select all

pacman -S gcc
in arch?

Edit: In case it isn't clear, I'm suggesting you use Arch :)

Re: pacman -Syu : error glibc : /lib is already there...

I did just as winfried suggested: [root@alarmpi ~]# rm -r /lib/modules/ [root@alarmpi ~]# rm -r /lib/udev/ ... [root@alarmpi ~]# pacman -Su --ignore glibc through SSH. Now I'm stuck with this sad thing: $ ssh root@10.0.1.17 root@10.0.1.17's password: Last login: Sat Sep 15 22:44:21 2012 from 10.0.1....
