I think I should share with you how things are arranged at Mageia. Everyone logs on as a user, you can't get round it, then if you are the Superuser you can click that icon and the system asks you for the superuser password then your it, as long as you keep doing superuser stuff but if you stop you ...

I've been using Linux for years, since the millennium actually Mandrake, Mandriva and now Mageia. I think this Rasperion is why people use Windows, this is ****ing terrible. You at raspberry have the chance of doing a great thing get a grip

True Mageia as yet hasn't an installable distribution, but any day their will be, at the moment there is a shed load of files but you'd probably need to install them on a working distribution. ;)

I don't thinks M$ will be able to roll out an edition quickly for a R PI like device with 192MB RAM, 700Mhz CPU unless someone could port Windows CE unless it's already on the go

Smarting a Dumb TV

I'm not a developer, but I'd like to empower my dumb flat screen with the R pi, in fact that's one of the two things I first thought it would do. That and a Beowulf ring. It crosses my mind how does one upgrade the RAM memory? But I'll do it all with Mageia. :?
