Pygame problems

Okay dokey, I messed around in Pygame, and I just wanted to port something to the Pi, however I'm getting a couple of issues: Performance is quite slow. When I ran the Pygame code on the Pi, the resource usage went crazy, even with the simple example I have. I used something that was animated a coup...

Re: "hello" example problems

Which distro you using? Squeeze, and I changed the directory as per: Are you on Squeeze or Wheezy ? On Wheezy the file is here: /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabi/libfreetype.so In the make file; so that's nice, and that worked. It still has a problem over the line: #include "bcm_host.h" I feel like a prop...

Re: "hello" example problems

Most odd. When I tried to install libfreetype6 nothing updated or changed. 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded I tried making again and it came up with the same error, no such file or directory. I checked in that directory and libfreetype.so doesn't exist in /usr/lib/ Heh, ...

It's having a paddy over the

Code: Select all

Sound problems

I've been having problems getting the sound on the device to work properly. Set up my Pi, got a USB stick with a few bits of music on just to test it works, opened with the Music Player, and nothing appears to be working. It doesn't even load up the music properly, when I press play it doesn't tell ...

Problem with password on the Pi

Okay, so I just got mine today, and it's wonderful, but at the moment I'm trying to get synaptic to work through aptitude, obviously asking me to become root, and it's returning authentication failure. I'm assuming this is because the password is incorrect, but isn't it the same password to login wi...
