well it doesn't seem to be the edimax.

I've just tried a different wireless adapter and that does the same thing

edimax wifi not working

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on this and I'm getting nowhere fast I'm trying to get an edimax wifi adapter to work on buster. it worked fine on wheezy If I run a continuous ping, the pi comes up on the network, but only for about 5 pings and then disappears again. this is driving me nuts...

I do. I have a pi with a BT dongle and a zero.

my problem is capturing and replaying the commands sent to the device from android

Hi I'd really like to be able to control a bluetooth smart home device with a raspberry pi, but I have no idea where to start. it comes with an android app that communicates with the device, but does anyone have any idea how to capture the required conversations and replay them with a raspberry pi? ...
