Opengl 2 driver not working with DPI display?

Hello, So I got my Display working that is connected over DPI, and I would like to run some OpenGL2 programs. However, when I try to enable the vc4 fkms driver in config.txt it doesn't fully work. So the PI boots up, I get the boot text on my DPI screen, however, that is all it will do, it will not ...

Re: Adding touchscreen driver in device tree for i2c?

The good news is that you've done the hard bit already. To make this your own overlay you'll need to rename it and add the name of the `.dtbo` to the Makefile in `arch/arm/boot/dts/`. You should also add a description to `arch/arm/boot/dts/README`. At this point, using the `dtbs` kernel make target...

Re: Adding touchscreen driver in device tree for i2c?

Okay so I got the driver working, I wrote a overlay based on the bmp085 overlay: // Definitions for BMP085/BMP180 digital barometric pressure and temperature sensors from Bosch Sensortec /dts-v1/; /plugin/; / { compatible = "brcm,bcm2835"; fragment@0 { target = <&i2c_arm>; //target = <&i2c1>; __over...

Adding touchscreen driver in device tree for i2c?

Please read me second post first Hello, I'm trying to get my touchscreen to work, it's a maxtouch mxt224 based touchscreen. It uses i2c and has a linux driver called atmel_mxt_ts. I added the driver in the kernel and compiled my own kernel, and can confirm it now shows in modprobe.(it doesn't give ...

Connect DPI display to raspberry pi that requires initialization commands.

Hello, I bought a little 3.2" 800*480 display with capacitive touch. The display uses a DPI interface for the pixels, so I should be able to connect it to the raspberry pi gpio, however, it also requires initialization commands unlike other DPI displays. For example, to get it to display anything yo...

Re: Battery charger IC good for raspberry pi?

Something like this https://www.adafruit.com/product/2465 might do if you don't need more than 1 AMP. As you can see designing one of these yourself is not trivial, and you'd likely not build it for less than $20. Powerboost doesn't have i2c to read charge status I believe, and it's way overpriced....

Battery charger IC good for raspberry pi?

Hello, I want to make a little hat for the raspberry pi that allows me to connect a lipo battery, charge it while the pi is running, and boosts the 3.7v to 5v for the pi. (I tried running the pi at 3.7v, it doesn't work) Additionally, I would want to read the charge status and battery voltage over s...

Native Youtube application for raspberry pi?

Hello, I created a little raspberry pi tablet which works really well. However, it's just too slow. Web browsing is just unacceptably slow. I can't get chrome to play any video above 480p to play smoothly, and loading a page takes forever. Since I mainly use the tablet for youtube, I'm wondering if ...
