Re: Default App and mouse?

Hey Doug,
DougieLawson wrote:... edit F:\config.txt, add

Code: Select all

max_usb_current=1
save it, safely eject it, reboot the RPi.
Apart from the fact that the default app crashed twice when I moved the wireless mouse no real success ;)

What's the setting supposed to do?

Works ... thanks.

WLAN sticks?

Hi,

has anyone got a WLAN stick running?
I've tried WiPi and EDIMAX and a Belkin stick, none worked.

What am I missing?

Re: Default App and mouse?

When I connect a mouse to the PI it does indeed work on the screen where it starts up with. You're right, interesting. I've just connected a USB mouse to the Pi and it indeed is working. Which leads me to the "right" question: Why doesn't the Logitech K260 wireless desktop set work that I'm trying ...

Of course with just on "Pi on Windows" it's not yet vital but still ...

Default App and mouse?

Hi,

is the DefaultApp (IoTCoreDefaultApp) supposed to be working with a mouse?
The screen looks like it ... "OFF" button, "settings" button ...

Re: AD7995 - How to read the second byte?

Okay. I had tried 'read.word_data()' but that requires a second parameter and I didn't know what that's supposed to be. I have now used: result = bus.read_word_data(0x28, 0x10) with '0x10' chosen empirically and it seems to work although it's not really satisfying not to know why it works ;) . Anyon...

AD7995 - How to read the second byte?

Hi, I'm experimenting with an AD7995 (10 bit ADC with 4 channels and an I2C bus). Language is python, using Geany as an IDE. Since the result is 10 bit wide there are two byte for the result to be retrieved. How is that done? My code so far: #Read a value from analog input 0 #in A/D in the AD7995 @ ...

Re: PayAsYouGo Dongle

Hi, I've got a Huawei E173 running ... although it takes a few times of restarting it to make it actually connect. I've used the script by http://www.sakis3g.org/ and the 'howto' on http://shkspr.mobi/blog/index.php/2012/07/3g-internet-on-raspberry-pi-success/ to make it happen. All that was left to...

Re: Cross compiling in eclipse.

Hi Richard, for two days I've been stuck here... I've started with the tutorial of Javier: http://linuxtortures.blogspot.fr/2012/06/cross-compiling-and-cross-debugging-c.html which helped a lot. After changing the setting for the compilers I'd been able to compile a simple 'c' project without errors...
