Re: GUI from Pi to ssh

Thanks for your suggestion! VNC is working well but I read that ssh is much more secure than vnc (since I am connecting through the internet). Does anyone know how to fix the problem and still use ssh?

Thanks!

GUI from Pi to ssh

Hi All! I've created a GUI and saved it in my raspberry pi files. I have ssh connected to my mac laptop and wanted to open the GUI from my terminal on my laptop. I can open and execute any other code but the GUI's are not working on the laptop (although they work perfectly on the pi). The error that...

Re: Data acquisition on Pi independent of monitor and keyboard

Actually I had another question. I now understand how to set up the headless system but I'm still confused on how to have the pi do what i want it to do while headlessly connected? How do I make sure it is making files and writing the proper data to the files? Can I do this without needing an ethern...

Data acquisition on Pi independent of monitor and keyboard

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a way that I could collect data and have it save on the SD card without having the pi connected to the monitor and keyboard.

Thanks!

Disconnect RPi LCD Screen

Hi! I've attached an RPi LCD Screen and am only getting the raspbian home page on my screen and not my monitor anymore (even though it is still connected). Does anyone know how I can get the screen back onto my monitor. I tried some things found on the internet but nothing seems to be working. If I ...

Thermocouple vs Temperature Sensors

Hi, just a general question: I want to detect values from a generator. What's the difference between using thermocouple or temperature sensors?

Re: Add Analog Pins to Raspberry Pi Model 3 B+

Interesting okay thank you. You mean if I used this board, I wouldn't have to make an external potential divide circuit?

Voltage Sensors with Raspberry Pi

Hi all! I wanted to add 2 V sensors and 1 mV sensor to my raspberry Pi. I have a plate that adds 8 ADC pins (DAQC2 pi-plate) so that part is covered. However, I was wondering what people thought was the best option for me to pursue this. I am trying to get values from a generator. Can I just simply ...

Data Acquisition with DAQc2: PWM pins

I want to use the DAQC2 plate with the Raspberry pi. However, I am having some issues. For one, I was wondering if I stacked pi plates, would I be able to individually program each PWM pin? Also, what is the maximum write speed of the plates? Currently, I think the software limits it to 3 samples / ...
