Re: Pi4 with official case and POE hat

Have you removed these 4 bottom screws in order to make it fit? Yes. I didn't fit them from the outset. As above. They're not needed. I have a habit of moving hats and SD cards between my Pis. If it's screwed down, I can't move it without a screwdriver. The hat fits snugly. It's not going anywhere ...

Re: Pi4 with official case and POE hat

I'm not sure I'm reading your post correctly. I have a 4GB Pi4, with an official POE hat, sitting in an official Pi4 case. It fits perfectly but I prefer to leave the lid off, in order to keep the temperature down. I store mine with the POE hat attached and the lid on, removing the lid before pluggi...

I have a Serial UART cable and the capability to create capture logs but the POE hat doesn't have any connections or pass-through exposed on the top surface. I've tried inserting a GPIO header with the UART wires connected to it into the holes in the top of the hat but can't get a connection to the ...

Re: PoE hat, Raspberry Pi 4, not able to power off

Raspberry Pi 4 with Buster up-to date as of 5 July 2018 and official POE hat won't stay shut-down. 'sudo halt' and 'sudo shutdown now' both reboot the Pi. The same MicroSD card, when placed into a Pi 3B+ fitted with a Navolabs POE hat shuts down and stays down. It doesn't reboot. Swap out the Navola...

Re: PoE hat, Raspberry Pi 4, not able to power off

A POE hat arrived today to go with my Pi4. I too noticed "sudo shutdown now" and "sudo halt" both perform a reboot. I also have a Navolabs POE hat. Had I thought at the time, I could've tried to replicate using this, although I can only test on a 3B+, as the Navolabs hat doesn't fit on the new 4B, d...
