Re: 4k 60 hz is not listed, only 30hz

In the general forum topic about the Pi 4, there's been discussion about the Pi not supporting YCbCr420 at 4K 60Hz (which unfortunately my SDR 4K TV uses at 4K 60Hz - I'm still waiting for my Pi 4 currently though).

Could this could be the issue?

That depends on whether your nVidia card supports >4:2:0 output. Early nVidia cards only supported 4:2:0 for 4K60 output. However 4:2:0 8-bit support is all that is really required for a 4K SDR TV (My old SDR 4K Sony KD49X8505B is 4:2:0-only for 4K60 I think) You may be out of luck and have to stic...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Thread - general discussion

The HDMI hardware does not support YCbCr420. So for 4Kp60 deep colour YCbCr422 is the only option Just reading through all these posts earlier about HDMI and YCbCr420. Does all this mean my SDR 4K TV won't work with the Pi 4 at 4K60? This is what NVIDIA Control Panel shows for it. https://i.imgur.c...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Thread - general discussion

Thanks to everyone involved - looks like a great upgrade.

I have one query - is there any possibility of driving one 4K 60Hz display at the same time as another 1920x1080 60Hz display? Or would 4K 60Hz prevent any second display output? Thanks.
