Re: Arduino motor control from Pi 3B+

Could you elaborate on what that is? I've not come across it and was pretty fixed on using Bluetooth, because I'm not sure I will have internet at the location where my project setup will be You don't need the internet, your Raspberry can be a self contained WiFi AP and network router. https://www....

Re: Arduino motor control from Pi 3B+

If you wish to continue with Bluetooth, you'll need to be more specific about your issue. You say you can send messages from the Pi to the "Arduino serial monitor". That implies to me that you are sending them to the Arduino. So instead of printing them to the Arduino's serial port, you can test th...

Re: Arduino motor control from Pi 3B+

That's what I'm using the HC-06 Bluetooth module for. I have it wired up to the Arduino with the breadboard. And I don't think I will need WiFi on it

Arduino motor control from Pi 3B+

Hi, I'm working on my first (robotics) project with the Pi and would like to connect it to the Arduino Uno to control some motors from there as well. I've already set up a bluetooth connection to the Arduino with a HC-06 and can send text messages from the Pi terminal to the Arduino Serial Monitor. ...

Bluetooth Battery Pack

Hi, I'm working on my first R.Pi project at the moment and I am using the 3B+ model. I have an adafruit motor HAT attached but that probably doesn't matter for what my question is. I am using multiple motors etc for my project and they are all connected via jumper wires. It's starting to get really ...

Re: Installing GitHub repository

The documentation provided by the developer, azzra , including Installation instructions, is here: https://github.com/azzra/python3-wiimote in the link you have cited. See the section headed Installation . Sorry, should've mentioned that I tried using those instructions but it doesn't work. The fir...

Installing GitHub repository

Hi, I'm fairly new to programming with the Pi. For a uni project I want to download the following GitHub Python library (or repository? I'm very unfamiliar with the terminology) https://github.com/azzra/python3-wiimote . So far I have done the git clone https://github.com/azzra/python3-wiimote but I...

as the motor hat only uses I2c to control it , you still have all the other gpio pins free to drive the vibrating mini motor disc.
Hi, thanks for the tip.

I have connected the hat to my Pi now but it has taken up all the pins of the 40 GPIO as far as I can see? Which other pins do you mean?

Stepper Motors and HAT

Hi, I'm trying to build my first Pi project but I'm unsure of what equipment or extensions I need for that. I want to connect two stepper motors and a vibration motor to the Pi and activate them according to certain buttons pressed on a Wii remote (connecting the wiimote is a whole different problem...
