Re: RayLib and Geany

Got the same results. When clicked on it ask with a dialog box what I wanted to do with it. If I run it in a term window. I get the following: INFO: Initializing raylib 2.6-dev * failed to add service - already in use? Going to try some stuff. Must be missing something somewhere. PS: That message me...

Re: Problems with LCD 16x2 and Adafruit CharLCD library on R

Double check your wiring! Really easy to miss something. Yep. Until its set up. You usually see a row of squares... One thing is an old 16x2 modules was using to test a design. You could just forget about contrast with it. But flipping over to a Negative ( Light characters on a dark background. ) RG...

Re: Free up even more space on a 2GB card (Jessie Lite)

rpdom anything can fail. That is why I keep a copy of the image on two storage locations. Windows servers still run Microsoft's version of Samba, their version of SQL, and some other items. It is really Apples vs Oranges. If I want to run a bloated pig with a bloated GUI. I would not be on here to ...

Re: Free up even more space on a 2GB card (Jessie Lite)

There is DietPi. Tried it and seem to be pretty good. Also if that's a 2gb card. Its slow. Have a project roll out first of next month. Uses 4 Pi's and each have 32GB MicroSDHC. Full Jessie and about 16GiB plus of data. Custom software to run on them for the duration. After that working up a new int...

Re: RPi 3 composite does not work

Like above... Did the cable work on the other Pi? Do you have audio. ( omxplayer -o both "Whatever with sound file" ) Is it clear or buzy? If a new cables does it match this. Use a Multi-meter set to restive or continuity mode to verify this pin out. (Tip to base ) TIP = Audio R Ring 1 = Audio L Rin...

Audio or some other connector that hard or not there now makes sense. A micro not a mini HDMI would make cabling adapter what ever easier And or up the chip with a better one makes sense also.

Re: LC Screen measuring 1.25 inches needed

Good luck! Looks like fun!

Seems to remember they used a small CRT with a wad of cables running out the back when they used that prop.

Would projecting an image also work for you? Could try a prisum scheme. May buy you a bit more room.

Have you tried Adafruit? or Sparkfun?

Re: RPI Zero DOES have sound

there are no solder points, but what can be done is to solder some components to a few GPIO pins to turn a PWM signal into an analog signal. you can redirect the PWM signal that originally went into signals going to the components for the analog audio port and redirect these PWM signals so they com...

Re: Noises from Pi b+ analog output

Split the power supply. Shield the speaker wires. And there are a lot of great DAC out there for the PI if you want good sound.

PS: 4ohm? What is the impedance out of the amp?
