Use python3 to run it,

sudo pip3 install rpi-backlight if you haven't already.

Re: solid state relay

"when I measure the voltage across the dc side of SSR I only see 500mV where I expect to see 5."

Where is the 5v coming from? The GPIO output is only 3.3v

Are you sure they have died and just not being triggered ? How are you proving they are dead ?

It quotes the trigger current is 7.5mA @ 12v, do you know the trigger current @ 3.3v ?

Re: Unstable driver (?) for wireless keyboard and mouse..

I''ve noticed a problem with my wireless keyboard and mouse, it's an Acer KG-0917. Never been an issue with any previous Pi or raspbian OS but now stops working occasionally with Pi4 and Buster. Fixed by unplugging and replugging USB wireless dongle.

I think this meets the list of requirements you posted, not sure where the 3rd variable is, and what the EXIT 0 comments mean. I am not sure if it does what you expect. I've modified neilgl's code to include a stopwatch, hopefully give you some ideas. # python3 and tk import tkinter as tk import time import RPi.GPIO as GPIO GPIO.setmode(GPIO.BCM) GPIO.setwarnings(False) switch = 17 # pin 11, switch to +3.3v GPIO.setup(switch,GPIO.IN, pull_up_down=GPIO.PUD_DOWN) cla...

Thanks for the info.

How much data can it store ?, and assuming I set the Davis to take readings every 10 minutes how long can it log for without being read from ?

I'd be interested in replacing a windows PC with a Pi for this application, and what other facilities / outputs it may offer, including being able to define user outputs.

I am not sure what... " with four ismart 2. 0 USBs for a simultaneous fast charging treatment..." means.

Does " ismart 2. 0 adjusts to connected devices" mean it's varying volts?

Re: Anyone interested in testing a new µHAT for Davis stations

Could you provide a bit more info. I have a Davis Vantage Pro2, which it would be interesting to use a Pi for.

My windows pc communicates on USB, with weatherlink, so what does the hat do? Is it not possible just to use USB from the Pi?.

Thanks.
