Changing Time format

Hey again, so I'm wondering, is it possible to change the time format that displays on the Raspbian desktop to 12-hour instead of military time?

CLI to desktop

So, I was experimenting with settings on Raspbian and I found a setting that chooses desktop or CLI for start-up. I did CLI wondering what it was, and found out that it takes me to the command line. So, I installed my fonts on Raspbian; and so far, they work mostly. In the menus and such, the fonts display themselves regularly. But on the desktop and task bar, the fonts don't show correctly. How can I make them show as I want them to? :x
