Re: No HDMI output on RPi 4

As long as you don't provide details on your setup nobody will be able to help edid: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=246738 config.txt: tried every config.txt this forum provided, waste of time. In order to test in house, we would need the actual binary EDID, not the parsed ...

Still can't get HDMI signal from Pi 4

Tried Pi 4 on school cluster's monitor and it is working, but back to my dorm I am using a portable monitor(like those designed for PS4s) and seems like the Pi 4 can't recognize my portable monitor and does not output signal. Able to log in with ssh and the power is sufficient when tested with the s...

Re: Pi4 without EDID info and can't read EDID

Make sure you are using HDMI-0 and try adding hdmi_ignore_edid=0xa5000080 to config.txt along with the proper HDMI mode and group. hdmi_ignore_edid=0xa5000080 # For 1080p monitor (you didn't specify) hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=82 # For 1080p/60 TV hdmi_group=1 hdmi_mode=16 The default is to apply this ...

Pi4 without EDID info and can't read EDID

Hello. This monitor I am using works perfectly with Pi 3b+ so I don't think this is monitor's problem.
The new pi cant' read the EDID of my monitor, but when using tvservice -l, it shows:
1 attached device(s), display ID's are :
Display Number 2, type HDMI 0
any solution?

Are you using the HDMI-0 or HDMI-1 port?
The HDMI-0 and the output of tvservice -l is:
tvservice -l
1 attached device(s), display ID's are :
Display Number 2, type HDMI 0

Does raspberry pi 4 supports power delivery protocol

Hi everyone, I have several phone charger not in use so I don't really want to buy a PSU. Can I just use the phone charger to power the new raspberry pi 4? the output of the phone charger is 5v/8v, 3a or 12v/2a.
