Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Heatsink vs Fan vs Flirc Case

Sorry, I thought you were the person who said "That said, the RPi 4 has a maximum operating temp of 50 C according to their published specs". I must have been mistaken.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Heatsink vs Fan vs Flirc Case

I already told you, in the manual. Specifically section 5.6 on the bottom of page 11 I am unable to find the link to download it in my history, so here's a screenshot. https://i.imgur.com/xycvoZ5.png The 50°C you are referring to is ambient maximum. If this isn't acceptable, here is a post by a Ras...

Re: WiFi speed on Pi4

I'm experience horrendous wifi as well. It is literally sitting right next to my laptop and router. When I ssh it so laggy as though I am on a dial up connection from the 80's. Editing via ssh is a nightmare. It frequently freezes me out and I have to start a new connection. Sometimes it is complete...

Re: image to fb0

Just a little update about sending images to the framebuffer on the Raspberry Pi Zero W. I had to change the output format to include alpha to have it working : convert -resize 1440x900 -background black -gravity center -extent 1440x900 01.jpg bgra:/dev/fb0 This solution is better than fbi w...

Re: RPi4 HEVC (h.265) playback not possible on Raspbian?

That shows a total disregard for the work of the RPT staff, and what they achieve with a small team of engineers and no bystanders. You seem to have found the answers to your questions by your own research, well done. Not really a disregard at all. It happened to be the truth actually. I'm actually...

@davidcolton it looks like there are too many bystanders and not enough engineers... :D That shows a total disregard for the work of the RPT staff, and what they achieve with a small team of engineers and no bystanders. Improved command line controller for omxplayer

I made a CLI script that controls omxplayer with support for a play queue and few other minor improvements.

Re: RPI 3 B+ No wireless interfaces found

I updated from Jessie to Stretch and I'm bricked out from the Internet too. This is ridiculous.

I get "No wireless interfaces found" ... "Could not communicate with wpa_supplicant".

I can't even get into the Networking GUI.

Re: Latest omxplayer builds

After installing on Jessie I get the error... /usr/bin/omxplayer.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libva-x11.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory when trying to run omxplayer. Perhaps a dependency of the internal ffmpeg libraries. Install libva-x11-2 How do I ins...
