Re: Improved parts in RS kit?

I assembled the Farnell kit last night (see image at http://www.marksbits.co.uk/Raspi/2012/1 ... assembled/)
Found all the parts were fine, had no troubles with the switches or IC's.

Re: Gertboard shipping date.

The ones from Tandy didn't quite fix correctly, they work but after a bit of a tinker Here some photo's of my Farnell Packaging http://www.marksbits.co.uk/Raspi/2012/10/15/...

Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

All worked well after running the script and the wifi connection was working to my router with the blue light flashing however on restarting the pi the wlan0 will not come up. Getting the error :- wpa_supplicant: /sbin/wpa_supplicant daemon failed to start run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/wpasupp...

Re: XBian - Small, Fast, Lightweight XBMC solution

Installed it on to a Sandisk 8GB card (see http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sandisk-8GB-Secure-Digital-Card/dp/B000VUVA62), and it worked straight out of the box.
