Re: Two cameras (CM3) question

Hi 6by9! I faced a quite strange problem. The hardware configuration of my system is following https://snag.gy/NIZHRQ.jpg The HDMI Switch is needed for redundancy. In case of software problems in CM3 the user can switch to VIDEOSOURCE_1 directly, without CM3. in debug mode I see RPi interface at DIS...

Re: Mplayer BGR to RGB

Hi 6by9, Yes, of course, I'm googling hard )) Now the situation is the following: * I configure v4l2 by v4l2-ctl --set-dv-bt-timings .... * Run mplayer with :outfmt=uyvy option * Picture is damaged * Re-configure v4l2 by v4l2-ctl --set-dv-bt-timings (any parameter should be changed slightly) * Run m...

Re: Mplayer BGR to RGB

hi I realized that there are no many good media players. VLC works good (colors are ok) but very slowly, actually. So, mplayer is good from the latency point of view. After some tests, I found that mplayer ignores v4l2 settings at all. After running, mplayer sets colorspace settings to RGB3 instead ...

Yes, I guess you're absolutely right - I have to switch to another app. Could you recommend me some powerful application with rotation and flip features? The video latency is critical for me.

Re: Mplayer BGR to RGB

When I do ":outfmt=uyvy" - the picture is damaged (a lot of colored lines, etc) - but yes, colors are ok.

Is it possible to get v4l2 drivers settings from qv4l2? qv4l2 shows my picture prefectly

Re: Mplayer BGR to RGB

Aha, qv4l2 shows the right colors when Capture Image Format is UYVY.

But I'm still not sure how to turn it on in mplayer.

Re: Mplayer BGR to RGB

Hi, 6by9, I see some strange message in mplayer output. It says: [swscaler @0x2482389482] bicubic scaler, from rgb24 to bgra using C I guess this is a problem, right? BTW, I'm using the mplayer with -vo x11 option. Tried -vo gl with the same result. Not sure about correct UYVY settings. How to check...

Re: Two cameras (CM3) question

It's strange, because my prev system had the same (I guess) configuration, but wired to 2,3 GPIO.

Nevertheless, I changed wirings and it works! Thank you!

Re: Mplayer BGR to RGB

OS: Debian.

I have 2 videosources: JVC camera and a custom videosource. Both of them has wrong colors.

I saw that mplayer has some parameter, that helps to switch BGR-> RGB, but it doesn't work.

Re: Two cameras (CM3) question

No, "raspi-gpio get" said that GPIO2 and 3 func=INPUT.

GPIO44 = SDA1
GPIO45 = SCL1

Am I right that dts should reconfigure it to 2 and 3?

Re: Two cameras (CM3) question

Yes, I have the same dts file.

But when 2 overlays are loaded i2cdetect -y 1 display only "- -"

It seems like an internal conflict between the i2c-1 line exists. When I run the command "i2cdetect -y 1" it executes slowly than "i2cdetect -y 0"

Mplayer BGR to RGB

Hi everyone!

I'm using mplayer to show video from my camera, but the picture is in BGR format - so blue and red colors are swapped.

Just looking some ways how to swap the colors back. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Re: Two cameras (CM3) question

I connect:

28 = SDA0
29 = SCL0
2 = SDA1
3 = SCL1

/dev/i2c-0 and /dev/i2c-1 exist.

According the log both overlays are loaded.

I guess I missed something with installation process

Hi 6by9! You helped me wit 2xB102 2 months ago. Now, I'm trying to setup the system again, but something doesn't work. As you menthioned, I didn't use dt-blob files, but it seems that something important was there I made the following (with your last dts file): dtc -I dts -O dtb -o tc358743-overlay-...

Re: Two cameras (CM3) question
