Motion behaviour under Buster is different. Problem with IR auto cut.

Hi guys I am having an issue with motion or rather 'Auto IR-Cut Camera' with my RPi3B+ based on latest Raspbian Buster. I am not sure what model is that but it has those two infra red LEDs for night mode at the sides. I bought it on Aliexpress. Under Raspbian Stretch everything was OK, Camera was ch...

Re: SenseHAT temperature readings question to owners...

How much of a difference are you seeing here? The two sensors are unlikely to give you the same value even if there was no localised heating from the SoC below. The humidity sensor temperature reading is ±0.5C from 15C to 40C but ±1C from 0C to 60C. The pressure sensor temperature reading is ±2C fr...

Hi Guys

my SenseHAT shows rather significant difference between 'get_temperature_from_humidity' and 'get_temperature_from_pressure'..

Could you please post here your readings difference while gathered at the same time?

Thank you.

Re: Killing specific instance of python script...

Thank you.

Solution which works for me is:

Code: Select all

pkill -f script.py
where script.py is the filename of the script you want to kill.

Re: SenseHAT in RPi-Monitor. Spikes in graphs.

Problem was caused by multiple Python scripts accessing sensors, probably at the same time. Problem can be solved by creating 'main" Python script which is the only one that can retrieve values and then saves them to file. Rest of the Python scrpts are reading values from saved files then.

Re: Python, text input and backround running...

I found solution:

i had to 'export msg' in the shell and then use 'import os' and 'os.environ['text']' to use the variable in python.

Code: Select all

sudo nano /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart
