Re: VNC and camera live preview...

Hi Guys i found information that enabling "direct capture mode" lets you live preview RPi camera via VNC. The thing is that when i enable that option on my RPi4, then when i connect via VNC viewer, i just get black small windows, no real picture. Disabling that option let me connect via VNC correct...

Re: Measuring time of operation...

So I have modified your code a bit so that it makes things easier to get the results you wanted. import time start = time.time() count = 0 lower = 0 upper = 10000 print("Prime numbers between",lower,"and",upper,"are:") for num in range(lower, upper + 1): if num > 1: for i in range(2,num): if (num % ...

Re: Measuring time of operation...

milliseconds2 = (milliseconds - int(milliseconds)) So substituting your values - milliseconds2 = (1775 - int(1775)) = 0 ! So '0' is what gets printed, just as you asked... Of course! what a silly mistake. Thanks guys for help! Last thing i would like to achieve is to count how many prime number wer...

Re: Measuring time of operation...

Anyone see where is the bug? Difficult to say, because the output does not seem to have come from that script. Sorry about the mess. So i clean up the code a little bit: import time start = int(time.time() * 1000) lower = 0 upper = 10000 print("Prime numbers between",lower,"and",upper,"are:") for n...

Thanks a lot. Re: Measuring time of operation...

Maybe get the time in milliseconds at the start, get it again at the end, and subtract the two. import time starttime = int(round(time.time() * 1000)) ... ... stuff you want to time ... endtime = int(round(time.time() * 1000)) print("elapsed time in milliseconds = ", endtime-starttime) Thank you fo...

Re: Moving from RPi3B+ to RPi4...

Thanks for your replies guys.

I do update my system on a regular basis.

So there should be no downside of that my SD Card was initially booted for first time in RPi3B+?

Thanks.

Re: SenseHAT temperature readings question to owners...

How much of a difference are you seeing here? The two sensors are unlikely to give you the same value even if there was no localised heating from the SoC below. The humidity sensor temperature reading is ±0.5C from 15C to 40C but ±1C from 0C to 60C. The pressure sensor temperature reading is ±2C fr...
