UPDATE: Found a useful article discussing the best long range IR flashlights, any one of these should vastly imrpove the radius of the night vision goggles

UPDATE: Just realized I should probably mention that you will need to set up a rig for this guy to operate in, you will need an infrared flashlight, and a power source for this to work. Update: installed evtest, tested, not even detecting touch inputs. still no idea why, my next idea is to test it by leaving the rotation at its default setting and seeing if the touchscreen works. If it does then I know that the touchscreen is in fact working just need to calibrate it to the new rot...
