Any number of things could have gone wrong during the installation. The error log says something like java could not find the Optifine class to execute OptifineTweaker, so that leads me to believe that maybe something went wrong with the optiFine installation. Which Pi are you using? Did you get glxgears running at close to 60fps? Don't run any other applications when trying to run Minecraft. Please don't forget this is a £30 educational single board computer - its a miracle it works at all! Im using the rpi 3 b+ glxgears works fine at 60 fps. I restarte...

So I got the game to launch finally using minecraft 1.12 and the optifine provided in the original post. However, when I try to create a world, the game freezes and my raspberry pi basically just stops. It freezes when "building terrain" It won't process any mouse input. Have I done something wrong ...
