Re: A command is executed whenever I open the Terminal window

Thanks that did the trick!

As soon as I looked into /home/pi/.bashrc I found the command and removed it.

A command is executed whenever I open the Terminal window

Last week I was trying different methods to run a command to turn the TV on at Pi start, but now that I am done with a working solution I noticed a problem. Whenever I open a Terminal window the same command I am currently using with a script is executed automatically and I have no clue on how to ge...

What project to take into consideration among all Android Auto emulators?

So I am almost done with my MagicMirror project and I am already looking to implement Android Auto into my 2008 Citröen C4 Picasso. However I've seen already several projects here, on GitHub and YouTube and I simply can't see which one is the most complete/powerfull... What I want is to have the mos...

Re: How to add a custom command when shutting down the Pi?

Thanks for the link, but I am still quite confused on what is the best solution for me. Basically all I want is to run echo standby 0 | cec-client -s -d 1 right after I click the LXDE shutdown button. First of all does it have to look like the following? [Unit] Description=Run CEC command to ...

(HDMI) Very poor 1080p image quality!

I need to run a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ at 1080p connected by HDMI, but both on a Samsung 4K monitor (U28E850R) and a Samsung 4K TV (UE55NU7170UXZT) the overall picture quality is very disappointing. :| White colour looks almost light blue and the overall sharpness is very poor... The same (hiqh quality/h...

Re: HDMI audio output with Voice HAT installed

Are you people perhaps talking about the v2 Voice HAT?

I ask because I've got a v1 Google Voice Kit, but I ended up with its mic not working anymore.

Many parts of the step-by-step edit instructions looked different in my RPI. :?

Re: Google Calendar Permissions

Hi all! Just set up a Voice Kit 1.0 today and its really neat so far. One issue is that when I ask it "what is on my calendar this weekend?" It responds with, "before I can do that you need to give me permission." All of the solutions i've seen to problems such as this is to enable things on the ac...

Need to remove multiple istance of 'Voice Kit' into Google Assistant

So I had to reflash 4 times the AIY Raspberry image because of mistakes I made, but I ended up by seeing 4 times the device 'Voice Kit'... :? Re: How to replace the v1 kit LED button with a LED strip?

OK, problem solved. If you have two 12V single color two-wires LED strip (SMD 1210) like me then: Insert the P30N06LE mosfet into the breadboard from i.e 4E (gate) to 6E (source) Connect the BLACK negative 12V power supply wire to the RED button wire Connect the RED positive 12V power supply wire to...

Need explanation of the BUTTON 4 PINs connector Voice HAT v1

I want to use a LED strip instead of the LED button so I was wondering if I can reuse two of the four BUTTON PINs?

Does anybody know what does EXACTLY do each of those four PINs?

Also any ground pinout I can connect to on the Voice HAT (v1)?

How to replace the v1 kit LED button with a LED strip?

I was following a YouTube tutorial on how to build a smart mirror with Google Assistant integration. I noticed the guy uses a Google Voice v1 AIY Kit, but he didn't explain how did he replace the supplied LED button with a LED strip... :? I mean how do I connect the LED strip so that it glows, flash...
