it seems completely ignored, kodi doesn't get killed..
Check the processes running with top or something. I can kill Kodi here just fine via ssh with that.
Well I can kill it with ssh as well but the script doesn't seem to work..
Any Response please?

If it is a RPi 2 or 3, it is:

Code: Select all

sudo killall kodi_v7.bin
it seems completely ignored, kodi doesn't get killed..

Re: How to open navit from kodi?

Try this: -Create a bash script with the following: #!/bin/bash sudo killall -9 kodi.bin navit kodi & -Change the last line of your python script by this: os.system("bash /path/to/the/script/scriptname") Other solution would be to compile Kodi yourself with support for X server and OpenGL, but it w...

Re: How to open navit from kodi?

How would you start "navit" outside of Kodi ? In a terminal if you write the command "which navit" you will probably get the response "/usr/bin/navit" or something similar which is the full path to the "navit" executable. You might try to enter that full path into the field in Kodi. I already tried...

Re: Some official RPI 7" touchscreen resolution issues with linage

Moved thread to android, and repaired the spelling mistake in the original subject line, linage to lineage. If I may say so, don't use Android on a PI, use Raspbian, the version of KODI for raspbian (OSMC or LIBRELEC) works fine on a PI. Also ask just one question per thread. Thanks im using Raspbi...

Where did you download that skin? If it has a button to open Navit, I think it is better to ask directly to the respective skin developer.
just downloaded it somewhere from the internet. From someone who isn't the developer.

Re: Some official RPI 7" touchscreen resolution issues with linage

Lineage is a version of Android. PINN can install Lineage and there is an option to configure it for the RPF 7" touchscreen. So have a look in https://sourceforge.net/projects/pinn/files/os/lineage/ at the files: lineage_-_touchscreen_boot_lin.txt lineage_-_touchscreen_system_lin.txt To see what co...

Re: Some official RPI 7" touchscreen resolution issues with linage

I found the kodi one The kodi what? Kodi is a multimedia application, not an OS or distro. Whether it works on a pi3 depends on the OS on which it is installed. So what OS + version do you use? NVM im not new to XBMC or Kodi as we call it today! it works fine on Raspbian ;) Q 1: Is there an update?...
