TBOPlayer stopped working

I have been using TBOPlayer to watch videos on my Pi 3B for a couple of weeks now. It has suddenly stopped working. The program will not launch from either a menu command or by double clicking an associated file. I have not installed or updated anything in since installing TBOPlayer. Any Ideas? I wi...

Re: Port 123 blocked, how to set time?

I cannot offer any solution to your problem as I suspect that I am having the same problem. As a linux newbie I have been struggling to figure out why I cannot get my Pi 3B to pickup the correct time from the network servers. I have set the proper options in raspi-config, REPEATEDLY and still cannot...

Re: How to configure Time ?

Time is getting displayed wrongly. How do I configure NTP ? What does "displayed wrongly" mean? Have you set your time zone using the GUI config tool in [Menu] --> [Preferences] or sudo raspi-config ? This is an interesting subject because I can never get this to work for me. I have set the options...

Re: How to select all mp3 in a folder with omxplayer

There are graphical front ends for OMXPlayer. I recommend TBOPlayer. Works great for me. The following string did the complete install for me. cd ~ && wget https://github.com/KenT2/tboplayer/tarball/master -O - | tar xz && cd KenT2-tboplayer-* && chmod +x setup.sh && ./setup.sh Got that from here; h...

Re: Power supply blue led flashing

Well I cannot say for sure. My Pi 3 power supply does not have a light on it, but I would have to guess that PS is toast. Time to get a new one.

Beginners Error = Destroyed Micro SD

Yes I have committed a rather foolish beginner's mistake. I was removing my Pi 3B from the basic plastic case In order to install a Sense Hat. Well I forgot to remove the Micro Sd card first. "Why is this so hard to get out of here" I wondered a I gave it another hard tug and ....... SNAP!!!! A piec...
