Re: Would a Raspberry Pi 3 B case be compatible with the Model B+

If you have LEGO lying around then you could build a case.

This is my latest, housing a 3 B+

Re: My C64, Amiga, Atari ST and BBC cases

Lovely work! And oh God is the nostalgia strong with these images. I'm trying to hold of buying one of those Mist FPGA emulators, but images like this don't make it any easier.

You get extra marks if you somehow integrate a SID chip into the 64!

Re: POCO® Zero+ / POCO® Zero

They're not out just yet, but they're available for pre-order on the site. I love the design and I really like that Grant is following in his Uncle (Sir) Clive's footsteps... Or should that be pedals? I noticed that he's also manufacturing light electric vehicles that can be pedaled - just like The ...

The LEGO Pi collection grows!

This is my latest LEGO Pi case, built for my beautiful niece. It's a conversion of the LEGO Friends Jewelry box, and features a USB port cover (the little door on the left, with the yellow handle) It also features a little bridge inside with a case fan mounted on it.... And yes! that fan is mounted ...

Re: MCPI: Delete a user defined area

I tried the following code today, to no avail.... import mcpi.minecraft as minecraft import mcpi.block as block mc = minecraft.Minecraft.create() hitCounter = 0 hitList = [] * 2 while True: for hit in mc.events.pollBlockHits in range(2): x = hit.pos.x y = hot.pos.y z = hit.pos.z hitCounter += 1 hitL...

Re: MCPI: Delete a user defined area

Thanks again for all the help guys. I'll return shortly and post my completed code, but for now I've decided to put Minecraft / mcpi to one side - I think it was just confusing me. Instead I'm working through the book "Invent Your Own Computer Games With Python" which I'm finding very clear and help...

Re: MCPI: Delete a user defined area

Hi I've been experimenting with the code but unfortunately I've not gotten very far. I'm not entirely sure what's going on with the list; I added a line of code to interrogate it... if hitCounter == 2: print (hitList [0:5]) ... But after the second block hit, the python shell just returns the first ...

Re: MCPI: Delete a user defined area

Thank you so much for the help! You've given me excellent code to work with and I'm going to have great fun trying to complete it. After a bit of reading I realise that I don't need an array... The "hitList = []" part of your program is presumably a "list" and it's the "hitList.append((x,y,z))" part...

Re: MCPI: Delete a user defined area

Hey thank you for kindly offering your help. It's very frustrating knowing what I want my program to do, without fully understanding the language or even the basic principles of programming. I imagine that is what a child feels like when they have something to say but only have a limited vocabulary....

MCPI: Delete a user defined area

Hi there, I'm totally new to MCPI (and to programming in general) and as such I've been having all kinds of problems. Generally speaking, the results of said problems tend to manifest as unseemly junk lying around my beautiful Minecraft world. I'm quite a tidy sort of person and as such I've been dr...
