Re: Rpi1 v1.2 clocks/voltages questions

So these are the values you read in the zero right? cause in the rpi1 the 1ghz 'turbo' raspi-config values are 500mhz core, 600mhz ram but 6 overvolt(never tried)! i imagine that the zero soc stock voltages could be already a bit higher.

Re: Rpi1 v1.2 clocks/voltages questions

Interesting. Any info on which tweaks were done to make it stable? And do you know exact rpi zero default cpu, core, mem values? Thank

Rpi1 v1.2 clocks/voltages questions

Hi, I'd like to ask if I can safely run the last Rpi1 v1.2 revision cpu at the same values of the Rpi Zero that if I understood correctly run default at 1Ghz (?) while the Rpi1 v1.2 still runs at the default 700Mhz. Are the "Turbo" raspi-config settings the same or can you tell me which values of th...

Re: Rpi2 and Samsung M2026W printer errors (Solved..)

UPDATE: I found a way to actually print even if far from a perfect solution. Basically with CUPS plus splix drivers, but with this config I found working somehow only with Generic IPP Everywhere Printer driver in the CUPS admin configuration. It seems to work only with 600 DPI quality and Grayscale ...

Re: Virtualize os on Pi2?

Maybe you could tell us what model the printer is. I did this kind of thing once. I virtualize Win XP under Linux to get iTunes work. I believe it's just the wrong way. I personally would change the printer to something known to work. If there is no printer known to work, for example those designed...

Virtualize os on Pi2?

Hi, having problems to use a Samsung printer that seems still not easily compatible with armhf system (but I read success on soft float os versions cause the drivers should support it), is it possible to virtualize another o.s. still arm but compiled on soft-float version on the Raspbian armhf lates...

Rpi2 and Samsung M2026W printer errors (Solved..)

Hi, I'm trying to install and use this Samsung M2026W printer on the Rpi2 v1.2. I installed the generic splix samsung/hp drivers from the repository and also downloaded the latest ULD.1.0.39 drivers official drivers. From the CUPS page the Rpi see the printer and install it. Before trying the specif...

Fastest microsd for Rpi 2/3?

Hi, I'd like to know which is the fastest microsd for the Rpi2 v1.2/3. I'm actually using a Samsung EVO+ 32Gb. I know that random write speed is probably the most important factor, so which one should I try in future? I've seen there are also some microsd rated up to 150Mb/s in read speed but I didn...

Re: Opensuse 64bit and rpi2/3?

I imagine that the Opensuse version being an official (?) one should be stable or not? The only reason I didn't try is for the size of the os to download and I'd need another fast memory card for it.

Opensuse 64bit and rpi2/3?

Hi,

did anyone try the newer Opensuse 64bit version for the Rpi2 or 3? How does it run compared to Raspbian or other Linux? Is there a speed jump fully using the armv8 features/registers?

There are other Emulators in RetroPie for the Master System if that's what you are asking e.g. PicoDrive,

Link - https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Se ... ter-System
But Retropie means to have another memory card to install it as whole new system right?

Hey 386dx40, I explain how to avoid the libjpeg header issue at the end of my Sat Dec 16, 2017 7:05 pm post earlier in this thread. Basically you should use the master branch rather than the opengl_es branch, then it's a non-issue. Not sure if your earlier problem was tied to using the wrong branch...

I'd like to know at the same clock , how much the BCM ARMv8 cpu is faster than the ARMv7 previous version? I imagined this at first but I was thinking maybe they couldn't be exactly the same (like maybe differences in internal cache, bus speed) even if based the same architecture .

Hi,

I'd like to know if both Raspberry Rpi2 v1.2 and Rpi3 BCM2837 soc are identical with just the default clock setting or if they are two different versions of the same cpu family.
Could the Rpi2 v1.2 be set at 1200Mhz?

Raspberry Pi 2 v1.2 overvolt boot

Hi, I just bought a Raspberry Pi 2 v1.2 the one with the rpi3 processor @ 900Mhz made in prc. To try it I used the old microsd of the rpi1 v1.2 that had the overclock/overvolt settings in the config.txt @ 1000Mhz/500Mhz core/ 450Mhz ram/ overvoltage 4 . Unfortunately I remembered only after the boot...
