Re: RTSP IP Cameras and GPU Motion Vector Support (OMX Playe

Thanks for the reply. I thought so much. Alternatively, I was thinking whether it is possible to compile all four rtsp steam in the encoder with a single output? If that can work, I should have the motion vector available for the single feed? I also picked up on this previous discussion. http://www....

RTSP IP Cameras and GPU Motion Vector Support (OMX Player)

Hi all, I am currently using my Pi as a CCTV monitor driver, playback 4 IP RTSP stream via 4 individual omxplayer instances in a 2x2 grid formation. This in total only uses about 15-20% CPU. Ideally, I would also like to record any motion events, however this task is to CPU intensive when using moti...

Re: RaspiStill motion vectors possible?

Interestingly, I ported my dc coeffeciant code to the pi, and I can detect full resolution 5megapixel motion frames in 100ms (2 frames compared), I will have to code both methods to see which is faster overall. @12oclocker, please can you by any change share your DC code? I am working on a home pro...

Re: RaspiStill motion vectors possible?

@12oclocker, please can you by any change share your DC code? I am working on a home project in which I have 4 IP cameras which are being rtsp streamed to the pi for a 2x2 grid display by making use of omxplayer. All and all it currently uses about 30-40% CPU. I would like to add motion tracking to ...
