Re: List of websites hosted on a Pi?

I just moved my website's hosting to a PI 3 with LAMP. http://parkstovisit.com This was my first experience with a non-windows OS / environment but after learning a couple of things from this forum (how to copy files in terminal ;) ) it is working well and I am happy with the performance. :D Nice! ...

DO NOT install phpmyadmin without understanding how many folks will be trying to hack at it every minute of the day.
Very true. My WordPress site run on apache receives people trying to probe for vulnerable PHP. If running a WordPress site, get a security plugin.

Oh ye of little imagination. I have one that is an NTP server. Another displays funny sayings. A couple more drive electronic name badges. Pretty much anything you can think where the small size is an advantage or needed, low power (such as battery powered) is desired, and where the CPU limitations...

Basic questions on CPUs In Pi

Hi everyone! I wanted to know how much more cost would be added to a CPU if the Pi is (leaving 48nm node?) going to a more powerful ARM CPU? I am guessing the smaller node your CPU is, the higher the cost because that makes sense. Also, I would like to know how much more power would be required by a...

What is the limit of the number of Zero's you can buy? I see many people ask what the limit is... But what I don't understand is what they can do with so many Pi Zeros. Oh ye of little imagination. the only thing I can think of huge regarding Raspberry Pi is the number of products sold. Seriously? You think the only thing the RPF does is produce a few computers? Maybe you should check out some of the online resources they provide, the global Code Clubs and all the other Pi(e)s they have a fin...

I am guessing it is run by volunteers due to the fact its only open on Thursday? Were did you get that from ? Probably a misinterpretation of the BBC's "The store opens in Cambridge's Grand Arcade shopping centre on Thursday". That's an "open from Thursday (today)", rather than "only open on Thursd...

"Computer firm", honestly I don't think of Raspberry Pi as a computer firm. "Computer firm" to me seems li...

If one person uses the image without the R, the image might be copied (from google images for example) and the whole population will see the image without the R and think it will be fine to use it.

It probably is possible but you would need a USB antenna for radio. Have a look at peppy player (don't have a link sorry!).

Then there are desires to be 'completist' and to have the latest shiny version to replace the old. Many consider it cheap... Buy 10, how much does that c...
