No pi camera or pi display sockets.
Oh well. I guess they had to remove those things to decrease the cost due to the fact they have an m.2 connector and DDR4 Ram.

That link says 1080p on the hdmi output, and only 100Mbit ethernet.
Huh. The person that told me about the M4 said that they all had 4K output.

3B+ has some competition

BPi M4 came out recently, $3 more than a Pi 3B+ with 4K video output, type C power cable, M.2 connector and eMMC. : http://www.electronics-lab.com/banana-p ... dcore-soc/

Re: How do I keep my Pi clean?

My case came with a fan and heat sinks. I find it odd if the fan is off when the Pi is in use. It's an scruple case for my 3B+.

Would a sucker fan produce less dust than a blower fan?

Re: How do I keep my Pi clean?

If you search ebay , online sales sites or pc parts sites you will find dust filters to fit fans for use in desktop PC's , one of those should help filter dust, but you will need to clean it regularly. There are metal screen types and foam filer pad types What do you recommend? Something that could...

How do I keep my Pi clean?

Hi, I opened up my Raspberry Pi case today as it has been running for a year without being cleaned. It has a blower fan on board so there is quite a bit of dust on the Pi. How do I decrease the amount of dust going into the Pi? Is there some sort of air filter I can put on top of the fan? I do have ...

Re: A better raspian 4 pi zero

IMO, the Pi Zero (W, WH) should only be used as a headless Pi unless used for a low powered retro games console. It just simply does not have the processing power for the Desktop to run nicely.

Re: Choppy Sound from Bluetooth speakers

Why are you using pulseaudio? It was removed and bluealsa is used instead. Make a new raspbian image, turn on bluetooth, connect to your speaker, right click on the sound icon in the desktop and choose the speaker. Boom. You have sound.

How many of you use Drupal on your Raspberry Pi?

Hi, I was just curious on how many of you actually know about Drupal (the 2nd most common CMS) and use it with Raspberry Pi? Drupal is somewhat similar to WordPress but is open source and offers much more customization. What I have found online is that Drupal installations on the Raspberry Pi are mo...

Re: How to get smooth play back in libreoffice impress?

With regular video it seems to help to play a lower resolution. No need to try to pump more data than will be used. So I would suggest adjusting the resolution of the video to just the actual part of the screen being used in the presentation. Reencode if necessary. The video was not playing at all,...

How to get smooth play back in libreoffice impress?

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible for a Pi to run a video in Libreoffice impress smoothly. I have tried with an mp4 file but failed miserably. Any ideas? I am trying to use all kinds of things from photos and video in the slideshow.

Re: Magazine Wrapping

The ocean is not full of plastic because people use plastic if they dispose of it properly. It's full because people just chuck it on the floor, leave it on the beach, let it fly around or flush it down the sink/toilet etc. When landfills get too full, trucks (I am not saying in the UK) dump it in ...

Re: Virtual Machine on Raspberry Pi

Your going to have problems with with virtual machines on a Pi. A Pi only has 1 GB of Ram! (2B , 3B and3B+) This is not going to work very well.

But if your doing this just for the fun of it, OS your using is very lightweight. You can use QEMU for emulation.

In many places it passes through the money raking "recycling" businesses and, after they have got you to do the sorting wok for them, ends up in the same land fill anyway.
With that mindset, your oceans will be full of plastics within your lifetime.
