A micro USB to USB charger. I plugged it into my computer. I also tried using it with a 5v wall outlet adapter.

Re: config.txt file on Raspbian NOOBS?

Hi, I recently downloaded Raspbian NOOBS onto my SD card, but when I saw a video showing me how to use a VGA monitor with a Raspberry Pi, I have to edit the code in the file config.txt. When I went to my SD card, I did not have anything named config.txt. Can anyone help me find the config.txt file?...

Re: Can anyone change my Python 2.7 code to Python 3?

Doesn't it seem like someone should write an automated converter program (if such has not already been done) ? I wonder what googling for "convert python 2 to python 3" would reveal... I tried to use the converting program that Python had. I asked on this forum because it didn't work. Sorry if I bo...

Science Fair ideas

Can anyone give me some science fair ideas that can be tested? Planning on using a Rasberry pi 3 for the project, but I don't know any good ideas. The question should be like, "How does [input] affect [output]?"

Thank you in advance.

Re: Turning a Science fair idea into a question.

I originally wrote: " How does the length of your password affect the chance of it being ?". My teacher said I have to put it in another word Maybe your teacher was not making a technical comment, but pointing out that your question appears to be incomplete and meaningless? He said that You have to...

Re: Turning a Science fair idea into a question.

A couple fo ideas... "How does password length affect the difficulty of being cracked?" (Or "discovered" if you want to avoid jargon.) I tried to do that, but my teacher said that it will be too obvious. He said the longer the password, the harder to crack. So I need the concept, but not a project ...

Re: Turning a Science fair idea into a question.

I would argue that length alone is a useless indicator. For example setting the password to 'password' is probably less secure than 'zpCj8'. A better question would be "What characteristics of a password..." But it is not immediately obvious to me how you would do meaningful experiments on this top...

Turning a Science fair idea into a question.

Hello, I am trying to do a project on network security, but I need help on making a question for it. I originally wrote: " How does the length of your password affect the chance of it being ?". My teacher said I have to put it in another word because it is too obvious to answer( the more numbers/ le...

Can anyone change my Python 2.7 code to Python 3?

The title says it all. Thank you in advanced! import time import string start = time.time() chars = list(string.printable)[:95] base = len(chars) n = 0 password = '123456' solved = False if password == '': print 'Your password is empty' solved = True elif password == chars[n]: print 'Your password i...
