Apache2 should work out of the box on all network interfaces.
Did you somewhere use "localhost" in an URL for your dynamic contents?

"system/./sds.service" und "system/sds.service" sind das gleiche. Davon musst Du Dich nicht beirren lassen. Das "Executable path is not absolute" wird sich wohl auf "sudo" beziehen. Re: Stretch Lite image ... gpt/mbr wonky?

This may come from the misunderstanding that the first sector doesn't have index 1 but 0. If your partition starts at sector 1 and is 1 sector long, you need an image with 2 sectors size.

gdisk reports "GPT: not present" and that there is no free space left for the "Secondary partition table" that needs to be created if you want to convert the image from MBR to GPT partitioning. This is no error message. Are you sure that you copied enough blocks when saving your customized image? As...

Re: mysql (mariadb) sends daily "error" emails

On the "Set up your WordPress Database" you can omit the "sudo mysql_secure_installation". It does nothing. Even after "mysql_secure_installation" you can login without password: sudo mysql and if you login with sudo mysql -u root -p it doesn't matter what password you enter. This is what the "ident...

sudo systemctl stop mariadb
sudo apt-get install mariadb-server-core-10.1 --reinstall
sudo systemctl start mariadb
Aber Du solltest Dir Sorgen machen, warum die Datei weg ist, falls das weiterhin beim Reboot schiefgeht.

First make sure that the mariadb-server package is installed: apt search mariadb-server should show a line saying that mariadb-server-10.1 is installed. If so, you can recreate the database from scratch. First reboot if unsure to make sure that no manually started deamon is still running, then: sudo...

Re: Cannot boot from USB without SD card

Keep on booting from SD cards if you can't boot your system from USB.
Stop compiling kernels if you can't boot them.
Start fresh with the latest Raspbian Stretch.
Light candles that your system keeps running for the months, you need to restore all on the new installed latest Raspbian Stretch system.

Look into (don't edit) /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/serve-cgi-bin.conf. Remove the "/usr" from the url. It should be "/cgi-bin/stepper.py" and your python file should be in /usr/lib/cgi-bin. Re: What functionality is lost when deleting the pi user?

Given the system only keeps the hash of the password it cannot pipe it into any commands, my guess it the lock option would be the best of the two but it’s a guess. You additionally need to remove the pi-greeter package to avoid unwanted automatic login as user pi to the desktop after updates. Othe...

Re: install ssh server on Raspbian Stretch Lite, i only have access to the sd card

Of course you need to reinstall ssh server if you accidently removed it. If you have a card reader connected to your raspberry pi you could boot from a new image, then mount your damaged installation and chroot into it. Otherwise you could place commands into /etc/rc.local of your damaged image. You...

Please check what login shell is configured for the user. If you didn't specify it when creating the user, the default should be /bin/sh. Check the output of echo $0 in a terminal or on the console.
