Removing tooltips in lightdm greeter

Is there any way to disable the tooltips in the lightdm-gtk-greeter? So far I’ve only found methods that work for gtk-2 but my theme uses gtk-3.2.

Re: Problems with lightdm test mode

It doesn't work most of the time for some reason. I had luck that it worked on my second try. If you know how to make it work every time please tell me.
You also have to give permissions to lightdm to edit the contents of var/lib/lightdm. I just logged into root and did it manually.

The problem actually was that I changed my username from pi to Pi once and pcmanfm was searching for /home/pi/Templates.

Re: [SOLVED]"Templates" folder not working!

Solution I found on the Internet:

Code: Select all

mkdir -p ~/.local/share/templates
Make a .desktop file.
Content:

Code: Select all

[Desktop Entry]
Comment=<Comment on template>
Icon=<Icon name for template>
Name=<Name for template>
Type=Link
URL=<path to the template file>
