Shutdown/Start Up Button

Hello Friends, I am having trouble with a shutdown/startup button. I used this script (https://pie.8bitjunkie.net/retropie-shutdown-and-startup-switch-the-easy-way), and the startup function works prefect! But, the shutdown never works. I am on raspbian lite and run the parsec client. Any ideas why?...

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 - What would it mean for emulation?

RPi2 + MameHUB + Super Game Pi handheld build = AMAZING! This is what I want.

If N64 and Dreamcast work, then I'll cry wonderful tears!

If you succeed in making one, then make sure to make it available for consumption. :) I'd buy one.

Re: What would you do with a Compute Module?

I would love to see a Model C (is it a called a shield?) adapter that pairs a a high quality DAC with a wireless card. Yes (HDMI output can be enforced without connection to a real monitor), but ,,, ... such converters without their own power supply have been leading to problems with the RPi in the past ... Thank you for the response. :) This one comes with an optional usb cable to supply power. Have models with th...

Using high quality HDMI audio

I have one of the early raspberry pi's (I think I got it June 2012). These early raspberry pi suffer from usb/audio issue due defects in the usb system, from what I have read. It may also suffer from some hmdi issues with some tv's (I experience power after about 5-30 minutes of using xmbc with HD v...

Re: Changing Locale Issue

[quote="jojopi"] Edit /etc/locale.gen and uncomment the line "en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8" and any others you need.

This worked!!! Thank you so much! The error in my owncloud installation is gone as well! Thank you! :)

This thread can now be closed. I no longer have any issues. :)

Changing Locale Issue

Hello, I have a bit of a problem. I can't seem to chnage the locale of my raspbian system. I have taken many attempts, incluing manually change the locale in the defualt locale file, and no matter what I do it always says it generates and used en_GB.UTF-8, when I need en_US.UTF. Not that it matters ...

Re: Minecraft server running on RaspPi

Is it possible that someone whom is an expert in minecraft server admin'ing could do some tests with bukkit and spigot to see what the optimum set-up is? Personally, I'd love a set-up as such: 1) Up to 5 people 2) Lag Free 3) Red Stone machines that don't include clocks (those lag even more powerful...

Has anyone tried tools to reduce server lag like pTweaks with craftbukkit?

There are multiple server lag reducing tools which could help these servers run.
