Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

I am thinking of selling my pi and lapdock on ebay or the like. Have all the cables and what not too. Just not finding enough uses and may just try to get a tablet instead. If you think you may want it let me know.

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

A way around this problem is the use a nano wireless router to provide wireless through the Ethernet port. It is powered by 5v. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833315095 used with a short CAT5 cable and attached to the display it should provide a good solid wireless bridge. It...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Was thinking of using this usb cable for power/data. Just cut off one end for data! Anyone tried this cable before? Nice! I might just order one once I know it works. The only potential glitch could be if the cable conductors are on the skimpy side, since we now know that the Pi can draw upwards of...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Ordered my HDMI converter from ebay last week, hope it gets here soon. My lapdock came fast from Amazon for $65 (2 day with free prime trial!). Was thinking of using this usb cable for power/data. Just cut off one end for data! Anyone tried this cable before? http://www.dealextreme.com/p/micro-usb-f...
