Pi 4B, Raspbian Buster and no WiFi connection [solved]

I was trying to setup my new Raspberry Pi 4B (4GB ram version) with the Raspbian Buster desktop and recommended software (2019-06-20) and connect to my router over WiFi. Whilst I can see my routers SSID's and yes I'm entering the correct password, I am unable to connect. My router's log says "incorr...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 B+ lockups

I'm in the UK and the second RPi 3B+ I received in place of the faulty first one is also causing me problems.
So I still await a fix or a replacement (I'd gladly except just a model 3B).

Any way I'll try another apt-get update/upgrade to see what happens but I'm not holding my breath.

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 B+ lockups

Having sent my first RPi 3B+ back to my supplier I received another one. Yet again it's locking up. I flashed Raspbian to a new SD card (32GB), usual apt-get update/upgrade (but not a rpi-update). Edited config.txt, set arm_freq=1200 & sdram_freq=450. I then ran memtester 512M, and it locked up with...

Re: FREE! £5 Voucher For Print Subscribers Of The MagPi

I recently received a code only to be told
Warning: Coupon is either invalid, expired or reached it's usage limit!
when I tried to use it at checkout.

So I still think it's scam or just a marketing trick!

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 B+ lockups

I have a IQaudio PiDAC+ hat attached to my pi, which I removed to see if that was causing the problem. Whilst I haven't had a crash like the last few days, it did slow down to a craw. The task manager showed that I'd used most of the memory, so I've been looking at the log files. I have "ufw" instal...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 B+ lockups

Today I've just discovered this post. I have also been suffering with my new Raspberry Pi 3B+ "Locking" up. I mostly use my Pi to listen to BBC radio programmes and use the BBC iPlayer to catch-up on TV programmes. Attached to my Pi is an IQaudio PiDAC+ hat for sound output to a pair of speakers. In...

Re: Actually, there are some basic settings that....

Hello Pete, I too had this message " Actually, there are some basic settings that need your permission first. Just go into the Google Home app on your phone for more details " . After a lot of searching I found this Google Home Help web page (see https://support.google.com/googlehome/answer/7382500 ...
