You mentioned MAC filtering. MAC filtering and DHCP (MAC) Reservations are 2 different things. You want DHCP Reservations, not MAC filtering. On my router I go to DHCP settings and there I have static address tab, when I click it, it goes to MAC address, so I guess it filters the MAC address in DHC...
