Windows 10 ARM64 on R-Pi 3

Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to install the official Microsoft Windows 10 RS5 ARM64 ISO on an SD card and have it work on an R-Pi3......Keep in mind that this is NOT the IoT version that has been compiled for the Pi. The iso is approx. 4 Gb in size.

Ok,
I did try using RealVNC and it's working well. I'm using the VNC Viewer plugin for Chrome browser and I'm able to access it. :D

Xrdp issue with Raspbian on R-Pi B 1st gen

Hello,
I just installed the latest version of Raspbian Jessie on my 1st generation Raspberry Pi.

The installation of XRDP went fine on the R-Pi but I cannot access my R-Pi from my Windows 7 computer even though I turned off the firewall on my W7 machine.

Is there a fix for this?

My Weather Indicator (or other weather app)

Hello,
I'm wondering if the ubuntu app, My Weather Indicator will work on raspbian......The deb package is an "all" package but what, if any, dependencies does it need in order to load properly?

Are there any other desktop weather apps for raspbian??

Re: Pi friendly GUI for SAMBA

Hi Everyone, For those of you using your Pi's as file servers with samba, and would like a more point and click way to share folders and adjust share permissions, system-config-samba appears to work well on Raspbian. I've been using it a few days now and so far it has worked perfectly I found these...

Re: Internet radio app for Raspbian

I found a good workaround to my issue. I installed QMMP and through QMMP's playlist, I add the radio station's URL and voila! internet radio. Keep in mind that in order to make it work you need the full URL of the internet radio station's streaming content. </happy>   :mr...

I should add that the ISP here is comcast broadband......The budget package, LOL.
It's not my house....I'm helping out a sick family member.

I'm still trying to figure out what Hiawatha does.......It's a webserver??? Do you mean an FTP webserver or something else?

Re: Hiawatha 9.1 Debian package for the Pi!

This is odd... Only one download so far, and that person was running Opera on Windows.. It wasn't the torrent link, either... It happened at about 6 PM on Saturday, he lives in Illinois (I know which corner of Illinois, but I'm not telling - common decency,) and his ISP is Comcast. (I think he's us...

Re: Alternative Operating Systems for the Pi

Red Sleeve Linux is an ARM port to the Fedora/Red Hat Linux Distro. It works very well on the Pi.

Also, Since HP's WebOS is now open source, has anyone attempted to port it to the Pi (or to ARM in general)???

Re: Windows CE

Windows CE would probably work on an Odroid-X2 which has 2 Gb of RAM and a quad-core CPU or a Beaglebone but the Raspberry Pi doesn't have enough muscle to run such a resource intensive OS.

Is the Ubuntu ARM Remix a soft-float or a hard-float version???

Ubuntu for ARM and Android are two OS's used on the Odroid.

Pi Store on Odroid-X???

I have both a Raspberry Pi and an Odroid-X2 and I'm wondering if the PiStore app will work on the Odroid-X2?

Both boards are ARM. The Odroid-X uses a Samsung Exynos ARM CPU.

OK, I just got done using a power unit that puts out 5 volts & 1 amp but the same issue....It freezes up. This usually happens when I have the command line window open and I'm using the YUM command.

Any thoughts???
