PID is good enough if heated mass is constant, but in my case it is not. So I need more intellectual way

I have experimental data dots (TIme_i, Power(0..1)_i, Temperature_i, TargetTemperature)
I want to understand and build the neural network on this data so that it can later adjust itself the power to obtain the TargetTemperature
Is it possible?

signed int

mimimalmodbus can read signed value when "read_register" but when i call read_registers I get unsigned int16
how to convert incoming values to signed? is there any built-in method?
