i gutted an hp officejet pro 8500 wireless today and found inside it a small touch screen, i was wondering, would there be a way to hook this up to my pi3

not yet, i do intend to, one of the repliers over there gave me a couple outdated scripts i cant get to work right yet, but i intend to fix them as soon as i can

in the mean time i am building my structure one layer at a time (one layer per .py)

I have done things with 4 lines of code that would take me months to write in C. Collect data from a running Stirling engine and plotting the Carnot cycle. i dont see any point

so from what im seeing this takes what could be simple code... and turns it into a math problem for some reason, i just dont see why this is a valid thing to learn unless you wanted a super fancy calculator but even then you wouldnt need this

can someone tell me just one reason this is good, one use?
