My dad and I were passing through a local arcade when I was like 6 and I just took a peak. That was enough to convince me to get in there. I've been a figh...

Do NOT try running desMuME on the RPi, or really any NDS/PS2 emulation, it runs slow as molasses. Thanks though for rest of the offerings, they look fun !
Yeah this. We still haven't been able to properly emulate PS2 like we did with PCSX2 back in late 2000s.

Re: How-To: Un-geoblock Netflix and cast movies to a TV

So how did I solve this. Well, I turned my Pi into a wireless access point, so both my iPAD with the Netflix app and the Chromecast could connect to it. I used the firewall features (iptables) of the Pi to redirect the traffic from the wifi adapter to the internet through a LAN connection to the mo...

Re: Bad times, Sorry for my disappearance.

Has been a very hard month for me. My Mom passed away on the 22nd at 12:42 in the afternoon. I am still dealing with that. On top of that I have lost my minimal income, and am living off of emergency supplies until I can get a new source of income. With these things going on I have not spent much t...

Re: Any celebrities promoting raspberry pi?

Any celebrities promoting raspberry pi? Prince could have been parodied by Weird Al. And why do some British singers sing in 'American'? Like Rod Stewart, George Michael, Elton John,... I don't think celebrities have enough interest in tech to promote raspberry pi. Unless we're including guys like ...
