Yes Raspbian was installed on the 8gig chip via the linux desktop machine.

Okay good.

I got;

Current default time zone: 'America/Belize'
Local time is now: Sat Feb 11 13:06:08 CST 2017.
Universal Time is now: Sat Feb 11 19:06:08 UTC 2017.

So far so good.

However, now is 19:09 and clock in menu says 13:09

Is there a facility to update date and time as soon as the rpi boots and realises wifi is available?

Thus grabbing the current dtg and displaying it in the correct place in the menu bar :ugeek:
