I just loaded Buster on a test system and Mathematica no longer appears in the software list. Has something changed with the licensing? This would be enough to stick with Stretch!
Which image did you install? The fully loaded one?

I was compiling opencv the version 3.4.1 and the message "Structure needs cleaning " shows up
So it has nothing to do with using 'apt' to install a program.
No experience with compiling opencv, so I cannot help you with that...

Please post text instead of a screenshot...

I can't see the connection between your first post (that's about errors when using 'apt') and your screenshot which seems to be while building from source
Please clarify the exact command(s) you're executing *and* full messages as text.

Just open terminal and type sudo idle
Why sudo? I'm sure that's not how it's started from the menu

Hi @jmaurin !
Thank you for your question, I have the same issue.
Were you able to find a solution in order to create a partition directly from pi-gen ?
The source of pi-gen is at https://github.com/RPi-Distro/pi-gen
Clone it and make any mod you feel is necessary.

Works, except that the pi must turn off when charging due to the limits of rechargeable batteries (cannot charge and discharge at same time). I would like to be able to control robot while charging. Is there any way to accomplish this? Find a pack that can be used while charging. They do exist... I...

After that "systemctl status ssh" gives "Active : active (exited)" and the Raspberry Pi is still unreachable from LAN, and there is no SSH process nor any associated listening port.
What is the full status/error message?

Python is not the camera software you're using. It's the programming language that's used by your camera software.

Thanks in advance!
It depends on the software you're using.
But I can't think of Pi camera software that supports mouse selection.

Cool, will try that tomorrow! FYI: as far as I know v1.29 is the last of the headmelted builds that runs on the Pi. Later ones...

You're confusing the Zero and Zero W. Current Zero is at v1.3 and Zero W is at v1.1

Why am I not able to install any module using pip in my virtual environment? Is it because I have created my virtual environment in /var/ directory? who is the owner of /var/www ? Often it's a specific user created for the web server and there could be a problem trying to access it with user 'pi'
