Re: The PiJuice has bricked my new Raspi 3+

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your PiJuice, however what you describe is unlikely if not impossible. As Dougie says there is nothing to "brick" on the Pi. Can you actually describe in more detail what the issue you have is? And before posting inflammatory titles suggesting our produ...

Re: Flick-Large demo won't run on PI3

Another thing you could do is to reflash the firmare on the Flick.
From within /home/pi/Flick/firmware/update

Code: Select all

cp ../Flick_Large_V1.1.enz

Code: Select all

./flickupdate
Please let us know how are you getting on with this.

Re: Flick-Large demo won't run on PI3

All I was trying to do was to help you out determining if it was a hardware or a software issue. If it is hardware than you can send the item back if it is software then we can start investigating on a different level. However you seem to be needing a different troubleshooting approach. I don't part...

Re: Flick-Large demo won't run on PI3

Hi,

The error seems to be related to software. Can you please try setting things up an a fresh installation of Raspbian with no other boards connected to the GPIO?
Did you follow our guide here https://www.pi-supply.com/make/flick-qu ... arge-board

Re: Turning on Zero W every hour

For an RTC I would recommend the mcp7940n-i/sn from microchip. Reason being that it can hold the run pin high, and short to ground on alarm to "wake" the Pi from halt. It can do this with no additional chips. We use it with a pogo pin on our PaPiRus HAT. It has device tree drivers and we have lots o...

Re: Raspberry pi zero | Arduino Esplora & PaPiRus ePaper

Know this is old, but you can actually drive the PaPiRus screen via Arduino also.

Just have to get the connections correct and there is already working code at https://github.com/repaper/gratis

Thanks

Re: PaPiRus Zero – ePaper / eInk Screen pHAT not functioning

Have you sent it back already? If not could you take a high resolution image of the underside of the board? Could you also try the command sudo papirus-set 2.0 before running any other command? Can you take a picture of both sides of the screen itself, including the cable also? Last but not least, r...

Re: PaPiRus Zero – ePaper / eInk Screen pHAT not functioning

Hi, sorry you are having problems with your PaPiRus. The ratio of defective screens coming from manufacturer is extremely low. In the majority of cases the problem is either to do with a connector not properly plugged in the board or with the screen having been inadvertently broken during assembly. ...
