Have you got a ground connected?

What baud rate is the feather board set to?
thank you for your reply.

the ground is connected via the green-ish cable (see pictures in my post).
the baud rate was set on both devices and tested at 9600 and also 115200 with the same results.

Re: Need help with RX/TX consistency

Possibly drop the speed if you are using unshielded cable. Make sure the ground is connected firmly between the two devices. How far apart are they? thank you for your reply. i tried to set the to 9600 but still it behaves the same. i've triple checked the ground connection, it is firmly connected....

Need help with RX/TX consistency

Hello all, I'm using Adafruit Feather board that is connected via RX TX to PI4, the following is the Feather code: void loop() { Serial1.println("up"); delay(1000); Serial1.println("down"); delay(1000); Serial1.println("left"); delay(1000); Serial1.println("right"); delay(1000); } and the PI4 code: ...

Re: question for the network experts, RPI as NAT for FFmpeg?

Hello epoch1970! thank you for your reply! i'm not sure I fully agree with you on this, the "50.0.0.100" is the lan address between the Pi and the camera for wlan0, while wlan1 has an external IP address of "5.29.183.137", and its wifi ip for wlan1 is "192.168.43.92", as far as I understand (and I'm...

Re: omxplayer + Bluetooth = new problems... need some help

I got to "solve" the short files and real time playing issues by changing the format of the files from MP3 to OGG, that part solved the short length problem (it seems the omxplayer has no problem with short ogg files), and the second "solution" (based on Douglas6's quiestion) was to use two omxplaye...

Re: omxplayer + Bluetooth = new problems... need some help

@Douglas6, many thanks for your reply. In general, I question the suitability of Bluetooth to your goals. I have my doubts also, my initial thought was to look for some short range (up to 5 meters) analog radio transmitter/receiver that will be used for data communication between the Pi and the devi...

This is still true for the Pi 4, just comment out the line in the [pi4] section:

Code: Select all

[pi4]
# Enable DRM VC4 V3D driver on top of the dispmanx display stack
#dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d
max_framebuffers=2

THANKS!!!

Re: newbie can't get wlan1 connect to network

On Raspbian, do not configure anything in /etc/network/interfaces. Use only dhcpcd.conf. 1. Remove everything you added to the interfaces file 2. Leave /etc/dhcpcd.conf as it is. Its defaults are fine for handling the 2 wireless interfaces 3. In directory /etc/wpa_supplicant/, - rename file wpa_sup...
