Re: rpi as a nfs server

ok solved the issue: looks like default kernel doesn't have nfs daemon v3 modules compiled.you shold have these in your config file: CONFIG_NFSD=m CONFIG_NFSD_V2_ACL=y CONFIG_NFSD_V3=y CONFIG_NFSD_V3_ACL=y what is misleading to me was nfs vs nfsd. added them , compiled kernel modules and it works..w...

Re: rpi as a nfs server

You can check by: 1) zcat /proc/config.gz > ~/config.txt 2) grep "NFS_" ~/config.txt You should see something like: CONFIG_NFS_FS=y CONFIG_NFS_V3=y CONFIG_NFS_V3_ACL=y CONFIG_NFS_V4=y # CONFIG_NFS_V4_1 is not set CONFIG_NFS_FSCACHE=y # CONFIG_NFS_USE_LEGACY_DNS is not set CONFIG_NFS_USE_KERNEL_DNS=...

Re: Pi compatible WIfi adaptor

i'm planning to stream 1080p movies from a unp server over wireless, do you think this wifi adaptor will have enough speed ? I was thinking to buy a 150mbs one but what I understand from your post is r-pi is not able to handle up to that speeds in any case?

Re: Iphone 4 Power Adapter Problem

I've western digital micro usb cable (which is from an external western digital hd)
I don't get hdmi output or boot or any signal showing that raspberry pi is working.
I thought the device was faulty but found this post.
Looks like there is an issue with western digital usb cables..
