fail2ban & VNC - it works ?

I would check the VNC access with fail2ban as well as I did for SSH .... is it possible ? Is it okay to add these lines in jail.local after [ssh] jail ? [vnc] enabled = true vnc port = 5900 filter = vnc logpath = /var/log/auth.log maxretry = 3 filter = vnc ? VNC also uses /var/log/auth.log ? Suggest...

Re: RPI3 with UPS APC monitoring & much internet GB

Hi Moses, after several days of control I see that the situation is stable. So the conclusion is that my problem was caused by SSH via WAN. I did not think SSH occupy so much bandwidth. I must be careful when working with 3G/4G router.... Logically using the ADSL do not notice the problem .... Regar...

Re: RPI3 with UPS APC monitoring & much internet GB

I highly doubt a stock install of Jessie will eat up that much bandwidth. I can't think of an automatic process (installed by default on Jessie) that would use anything remotely near 1 gig a day. Are you sure you were not running anything? You can run ifconfig and it will show you the amount used b...
