Re: Raspberry pi for coding on machine level?

Thanks for the quick and informative response! Is there a sort of community where machine learning applications like these can be found, and where people can share their experiences (more for beginners; and specific to the Pi)? I believe there`s many, i`m following opensource and alex elli`s blog.

Re: LAN / Ethernet not working on Raspberry pi 3

My guess is that your pi is in manual mode and is either not pulling the DNS from your router and/or not getting an IP.

Even though Mario Kart 64 came out 20 years ago, I personally don't consider it retro and that makes me feel old.

Re: My experience with Pixel x-86

I can't grok LXDE. What is the point of it? By the time you add in the missing functionality it's resource usage and complexity is similar to xFce. Without that functionality you may as well just use Openbox for minimal resources and less complexity.

PHP needs to sit on a server to run. A server can be local, look for an AMP stack for your computer. Otherwise upload th...

I have tried Kodi with it, but I've been able to use my Pi to torrent & play movies from a NAS for a while now. Earlier i was setup some kodi addons but it failed to install dependency.

Torrenting Box?

Im looking for a cheap low power torrent box. Should I consider a Raspberry pi or something else? I want to retire a old quad core 2 duo machine that I leave on all the time just for downloading. Im looking for a cheap low power alternative.

Re: VPN advise

If you care about security and privacy I'd recommend either of these: Express VPN, PIA or IPvanish, Express VPN is a bit pricey but it worth it. Agreed, expressvpn is pricey but still the best for torrenting and for privacy. The average cost of Express VPN per month for 12 month subscribers is $8.3...
