Re: Pi 3 freezing after start up

The RPi has not been working since an unsuccessful attempt to attach the camera.

Re: Pi 3 freezing after start up

The screen will freeze when the desktop screen appears.
I tend to wait up to 15 minutes and the screen still stays "frozen".
The OS is raspain.
I am using the power supply that was supplied with the RPi. Would getting a new supply work?
Thanks

Pi 3 freezing after start up

I have a raspberry pi 3, after the pi has started up the screen will "freeze" and the pi won't appear to take any input from the mouse and keyboard.
Does anyone have any ideas of what may be happening and how to fix this?
Thanks

Re: Pi 3 VGA

We opened up the config.txt file through the boot folder. I remember using sudo in the past, is that our way in?
I don't know if the latest raspbian software is less accessible than previous versions.

Re: Pi 3 VGA

No, we've hooked up the PI to the HDMI socket of the living room TV so there should(?) be no write protect

Re: Pi 3 VGA

Thanks when we made the edit, it wouldn't let us save the file. i.e. when we ok'd to let it overwrite the existing file it said it couldn't open it to write.

Any ideas?

Pi 3 VGA

I have recently upgraded my B+ Raspberry Pi to a raspberry pi 3. The VGA/HDMI adapter and monitor that I used for my old Pi don't work with my Pi 3. From what was done last time I understand that I need to access and edit the code. Unfortunately I don't know how to access or the code. Classic exampl...
