ok , more investigation , spacing on connectors a little different , also my "new" connector has 6/17 pins
new usb driver has 8/18 pins

so i think some connections are not making a good contact ...

cheers dan , so are you confirming you used the Aspire screen to run on a PI ? sorry .. just confirming .. will take apart now

as i said above , i was just going to buy a Ebay pi/hdmi 10.1 inch screen and driver ,,,

i guess i could use a A+ board ,as its thinner , but i think a B+ would be simpler in long run etc

Just got my pi the other day , and as soon as i saw the link on how to install Quake 3 i did .. as it brought back good memory's... not only did i play quake allot ( was not good at it though ) i also loved Mods that people made.. urban terror etc ... custom quake code ,pointers / links to convert to pi

Hi , i have some custom code based on the complete released code from ID , its all in windows at the moment , and compiles under visual studio.

what steps do i need to take to compile for the PI ?

any pointers / links before shooting me down ? :)
