Lolly sticks case

Hello, I have made a case with wood lolly sticks for the raspberry pi. There is a lot of hand work here, but it fits very well. Just a new idea for a case ;) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40901035/pi/02022013492.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40901035/pi/02022013493.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40901035/pi/02...

Re: I2C support for Arch Linux

Hello,

I do not know if you have already solved it, but try:

Code: Select all

sudo modprobe i2c-dev
sudo modprobe i2c-bcm2708
I hope this helps.

regards.

Re: RF receiver 433MHZ

Hello, Thank you all for your help. I have tried with serial link as explained by Joan, and... ok, I see that I must learn a little of C... Every try with minicom, or pyserial, send just nothing, but using the code provided by Joan: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=252739#p252739 I ...

RF receiver 433MHZ

Hello, after reading the article in the last "ThemagPi" magazine about sending a signal with a RF transmitter to a socket and switch it on or off, I found it very interesting. They are the same as these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-433Mhz-RF-transmitter-and-receiver-kit-for-Arduino-project-/2610411...

Re: Begginer question. GPIO circuits.

Hello,

thanks a lot for the information. Sometimes, when you start something new, it is difficult to know the most basic information. Is for that reason that asking in the correct place can be the best choice.

So, I must start learning the next steps !!

Thank you again.

Begginer question. GPIO circuits.

Hello, just a simple question: If I try to do some circuits to work with the gpio pins in the raspberrypi, I know I must be carefull with voltages and currents. So One solution is to use a different power supply for the external circuit, that can be safely isolated by transistors, for example. But, ...

Re: kernel panic on boot

Hello,

I can say that (at least for me), removing these kernel parameters from cmdline.txt, it boots even after the pacman -Syu:
init=/bin/systemd
sdhci-bcm2708.cycle_delay=1000

Re: kernel panic on boot

I had the same problem after upgrade, and after verifying my raspbian booted with the new firmware, I started trying removing things from cmdline.txt If you remove sdhci-bcm2708.cycle_delay=1000 from cmdline.txt this made my system boot normally. I am not sure what that parameter does, but the new ...

Midori Segmentation fault

Hello,

With the new image, I'm not able to run midori. It just open, shows the google home page, and then close.
If I run from console, it say segmentation fault.

Does someone have an idea of this? I'm using netsurf, but is not as capable as midori for certain sites.

Thanks a lot.

Hello,
trying the new image... but... I think the username/password are no more the same as before.

Which user is defined or which is the root password?

Thank you.

Best regards, and thanks for the Hard work ;)

Edit: Forget this. I rebooted and then it worked as expected.

Hello, I have made a SketchUp model of the raspberry pi, I hope people find it useful. The one reported in the wiki, if more nice but it is true that has some errors in dimenssions. You can download from here: http://db.tt/nW69HGlX http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40901035/RaspberryPi_2.png Regards. Angel.
